India pacer Mohammad Shami on Thursday created history by becoming the fastest bowler to take 200 wickets in ODI cricket, achieving the feat during India's Champions Trophy 2025 opener against Bangladesh. Shami took 5,126 balls to take 200 ODI wickets. He is followed by Australia pacer Mitchell Starc, who took 5,240 balls, and Pakistan's Saqlain Mushtaq, who took 5,451 balls.
