A Moldovan court has sentenced pro-Russia regional leader Yevgenia Gutsul to seven years in prison for using Russian money to finance a political party, in a decision that could fuel tensions with Moscow. "This decision has nothing to do with justice...It's a political massacre," she said. Russian spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Gutsul has been sentenced "for lawfully fulfilling her duty".
