Months after undergoing hand transplant, 16-year-old Anamta Ahmed from Maharashtra's Mumbai tied a rakhi to Shivam Mistry, the brother of her late donor Riya, in Gujarat's Valsad. Riya, a nine-year-old, died in 2024, and her hand was donated through NGO Donate Life. Injured in 2022, Anamta is now recovering well, studying in Class 12, and inspiring others on social media.
