BJP MP Arun Govil demanded in Lok Sabha that CCTV cameras should be installed in all mosques and madrasas across India if temples, churches and gurudwaras already have them. Govil stated that if CCTVs can be installed in Saudi Arabia's Mecca, then why can't they be installed in Indian mosques and madrasas? CCTVs are necessary for national security, he added.
