Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said on Monday, "I've seen...reasonable number of crises in my career, but this (Air India plane crash) is the most heartbreaking one which I never thought I would see." He stated, "Those affected, they are going to feel the pain for a very long time...we've got to do our very best...to help each of them."
