Astronomers produced the most sensitive radio image ever of second-brightest globular cluster, 47 Tucanae. The image revealed a previously unknown radio signal from the cluster's centre. It boasts over a million stars with dense core. Compiled from 450+ hours of observations on CSIRO's Australia Telescope Compact Array, this marks the deepest radio image achieved by any Australian radio telescope.
