A new study found that the most common activity people engage in while sitting on the toilet is reading news (54.3%), followed by social media use (44.4%). Nearly 40% people reported emailing/texting, followed by gaming (around 30%) and watching videos (around 25%), the study noted. The research, published in PLOS One, included 143 participants, with 87.4% completing the full survey.
