A federal appeals court has ruled that most of the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump are illegal, noting that he overstepped his authority under an emergency powers law. The court also let tariffs remain in place till October 14 to allow Trump's administration to file an appeal in the US Supreme Court. Trump imposed 50% tariffs on India.
