Dr Prafull Srivastava, chairman of the Chitragupt Temple renovation committee, fell into a 6-foot-deep pit while posing for a photograph during the construction of a temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni district. Srivastava was reportedly participating in shramdaan (voluntary labour) when the incident took place. People at the site helped him out, and he sustained only minor injuries.
