A female cheetah, named Mukhi, born at Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park has turned 30 months old. This made Mukhi the first India-born cheetah to reach maturity. "Of the four cubs [Namibian cheetah] Jwala delivered, three died due to extreme heat, but Mukhi survived and has grown well. Today, our efforts have yielded encouraging results," Project Cheetah director said.
