Police arrested Umar Ansari, son of late gangster-turned-politician and five-time MLA from Uttar Pradesh, Mukhtar Ansari, in Lucknow. Umar allegedly submitted fake documents bearing her mother, Afsa Ansari's, forged signatures, to reclaim a seized property linked to his father's criminal activities, the police said. Afsa is herself 'wanted' in multiple cases and carries a bounty of ₹50,000 on her.
