Mumbai will face water shortages from October 7 to 9, despite the dams being full, as per official sources. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is reducing water supply by 10 per cent in specific areas and the eastern suburbs. Electricity metre updates at the Pise purification centre will also disrupt supply daily from 12:30 pm to 3pm, affecting various sections of the city.
