Bhandup Police booked Amitkumar Burman and Gurinder Singh for cheating Astral Manpower Services of ₹8.29 lakh by faking recruitment for Angola-based Geosop Agro LAD, a firm shut for a decade. The duo allegedly used fake emails, agreements, interviews and training to extort money for document attestation. Astral uncovered the scam and police are investigating.
