A computer dealer from Mumbai was duped of ₹ 1 crore in a crypto trading scam after he joined a fraudulent WhatsApp group. The victim was cheated by unknown people between March and August 2024 after he received a message from an unknown person on Telegram. The police have registered a case in connection with the crypto investment fraud.
