Chinuu Kwatra is making several beaches in Mumbai plastic-free and has built a Beach Waste Recovery Facility, where recovered plastic is sorted, cleaned, and processed. The plastic collected from the ocean is being transformed into sturdy, low-cost benches for village schools. "Kids were sitting on cold floors, while tons of plastic sat useless on our beaches," Kwatra said.
