The much anticipated Mumbai Metro Line 3 became fully operational on October 9. However, excitement soon faded when new underground line ran into a major issue, that is lack of mobile network connectivity at underground stations, which made it difficult for commuters to buy tickets. Many passengers were forced to rely only on cash transactions, leading to long queues and frustration amongst them.
