Mumbai Metro Line 3, fully operational after its final phase was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi, saw heavy ridership on Thursday, touching nearly 1.5 lakh commuters till 9 pm, officials said. The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation reported 1,18,286 passengers travelled the 33.5 km line between Cuffe Parade and Aarey JVLR by 7 pm. Earlier, ridership till 6 pm was 97,846.
