Mumbai Metro Line 6 (Pink Line) is expected to start operating by late 2026. It will connect Lokhandwala to Vikhroli, easing east-west commute, reducing JVLR travel time, decongesting roads, and enhancing metro connectivity across Mumbai suburbs. The key feature of the Mumbai Pink Line is that it would cut JVLR travel time by 30 to 45 minutes. The line will use smart cards and QR code tokens.
