Mumbai Railway Police transferred eight constables to headquarters following extortion inquiries at Bandra, Borivali, & Andheri stations. Rakesh Kalasagar, Commissioner of Mumbai Railway Police, stated that the cases have been taken seriously & an inquiry has been initiated. The Chief of the Railway Police confirmed that he will issue bag-checking guidelines following the extortion incidents.
