Built in the 13th century, nearly 800 years ago, the Mahim Fort in Mumbai is now set to undergo major restoration and development work. The state will involve the ASI to help the BMC restore the fort to its former glory. The work will be carried out carefully to ensure the original structure and design remain intact.
