A 28-year-old Deloitte consultant from Mumbai was duped of ₹33.44 lakh by fraudsters running fake Instagram tarot and astrology accounts. The scammers exploited her emotional distress, claiming black magic was affecting her and demanding payments for rituals. After repeated demands, she realised the fraud and reported it to the cyber police, who are now investigating.
