The services at the Munich airport were disrupted briefly on Thursday night after drone sightings led to the cancellation of 17 flights, leaving nearly 3,000 passengers stranded. The airport operations resumed early on Friday morning after another 15 arriving flights were diverted around the region. This comes days after airports were temporarily shut in Denmark and Norway.
