Elon Musk's startup Neuralink used a brain implant to enable a monkey to see something that wasn't physically there, according to Neuralink engineer Joseph O'Doherty. The device called 'Blindsight' stimulated areas of a monkey's brain associated with vision. "Blindsight will enable even those who have lost both eyes and their optic nerve to see," Musk earlier said.
