Elon Musk's xAI has joined Meta and Google in race to build 'world models', advanced AI systems capable of understanding, navigating and designing physical environments. The San Francisco-based company hired two AI researchers from NVIDIA, Ethan He and Indian-origin Zeeshan Patel, to speed up the process. xAI is building world models with view to applying them in gaming, reports said.
