Responding to the controversy around ethanol-blended E20 petrol, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said, "My brain is worth ₹200 crore/month...I'm not at all short of money, and I don't stoop low." He added that his work and experiments are driven by ideas and aimed at benefiting farmers, not by personal financial gain. I know how to earn with honesty, he said.
