Army jawan Kapil, who was beaten by toll booth staff in Meerut for objecting to the long queue, said that while he has no hesitation in facing enemies at the border, the behaviour meted out to him in his own country has left a lasting scar. Kapil said, "The injuries...will heal...but the wound to the mind will remain for life."
