Recalling the incident which claimed the lives of 11 people and injured 47, Bengaluru stampede survivor Venu said even his cries for help couldn't be heard as people were screaming. "I stood among the people in the crowds, but after a point I couldn't even breathe," he stated. Venu suffered injury in his leg after a barricade fell on him.
