Devi Singh, the father of Indore's Sonam Raghuvanshi, who is accused of plotting her husband Raja Raghuvanshi's murder by allegedly hiring hitmen during their honeymoon in Meghalaya, said, "My daughter is innocent." He added, "The state (Meghalaya) government has been lying from the beginning...Meghalaya Police is lying, making up stories." Sonam's father has demanded a CBI inquiry in the case.
