Dia Mirza said her son Avyaan, born prematurely in 2021, weighed 810 grams on birth. "My son had a hole in his intestine and he underwent surgery 36 hours after birth...They basically pulled the intestine out of body," she said, adding, "I was allowed to visit him only twice a week. I couldn't hold him until he weighed 2.5 kg."
