A sudden illness has resulted in the deaths of 10 people across two districts of Uttarakhand. Seven deaths occurred in Almora’s Dhauladevi block over the past 15 days, while three were reported from Roorkee region in Haridwar district, a TOI report stated. Patients have shown symptoms of high fever and a sharp drop in platelet count, prompting authorities to investigate.
