Astronomers have discovered a mysterious object in the outer solar system that moves in sync with Neptune. Named 2020 VN40, it belongs to a class of minor planets called trans-Neptunian objects. It's the first known body to orbit the Sun once for every ten Neptunian orbits. The object’s average distance is 140 times farther from the Sun than Earth.
