Nagaland Governor La Ganesan passed away at the age of 80 on Friday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai, NDTV reported, citing a Raj Bhavan official. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over Ganesan's demise and said, "He will be remembered as a devout nationalist, who dedicated his life to service and nation-building."
