Nagaland University researchers have patented the ‘BR Fishing Trap’, an eco-friendly, low-cost device made from bamboo and plastic threads for hill stream and cage culture fishing. The UK-patented innovation, led by Dr PR Singh and Prof Bendang Ao, offers a sustainable, durable alternative to costly gear, boosting local livelihoods.
