Ex-PCB chief Najam Sethi claimed he stopped Pakistan from boycotting Asia Cup following handshake controversy. "In the heat of moment, [current PCB chief] Mohsin Naqvi decided to withdraw," he added. He further said Pakistan would have lost ₹132 crore had they boycotted. Notably, Pakistan threatened to boycott, demanding match referee Andy Pycroft's ouster from Asia Cup after match against India.
