Namibia's Health and Social Services Ministry confirmed the country's first Mpox case in Swakopmund. An outbreak has been declared in the coastal city, in line with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. The southern African nation joins at least 19 African countries currently managing active outbreaks, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Malawi, and Tanzania.
