Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole won from Sakoli Assembly constituency by 208 votes, defeating BJP's Avinash Brahmankar. Patole secured 96,795 votes whereas Brahmankar bagged 96,587 votes, as per Election Commission's data. Patole first secured a win from the seat in 2009 on BJP's ticket. In 2014, Patole contested from Bhandara-Gondia seat and defeated former Union Minister Praful Patel.
