At least 12 people have died in rain-related incidents across Maharashtra, Disaster Management Minister Girish Mahajan said on Tuesday. Nanded district reported nine deaths from flooding, while Mumbai saw one death after a wall collapse and two more deaths in other districts, official said. Authorities remain on high alert as IMD issued a red alert for Mumbai and suburbs.
