Researchers from Texas A&M University have developed nanoflowers from molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) that can help rejuvenate old and damaged human cells. They found that using these nanoflowers in combination with stem cells caused these cells to produce twice the number of mitochondria. These stem cells then transferred the mitochondria to the damaged cells, researchers stated.
