NASA is launching rockets from a remote Pacific island to study "mysterious" high-altitude, cloud-like structures that can disrupt communication systems, the agency said. These structures can cause ATCs and marine radio users to receive signals from faraway regions, mistaking them for nearby sources, NASA stated.
