NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory announced that it will reduce 10% of its workforce amid restructuring. The layoffs will affect 550 employees, confirmed director Dave Gallagher in a message. He further clarified that the Jet Propulsion Laboratory layoffs were not part of the government shutdown in the United States.
