NASA is set to launch 'ESCAPADE' project under which two identical spacecraft - named Blue and Gold respectively - will explore Martian environment and atmospheric escape process. This study could reveal how Mars lost its water and thick atmosphere billions of years ago. The launch is planned on 9th November 2025. NASA has collaborated with Rocket Lab for the mission.
