National-level para-athlete Jogendra Chhatria and a man named Hrushikesh Rana died days after being bitten by a rabies-infected dog in Odisha's Bolangir. The dog reportedly went on a biting spree on July 23, attacking six people, including 33-year-old Chhatria, 48-year-old Hrushikesh, and some school students. The four other victims survived.
