A national-level Taekwondo player has alleged that she was gang-raped after being offered a drug-laced laddoo inside an ashram in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The alleged assault took place in January, officials said on Sunday. The victim said she filed the complaint after four months as she feared retribution due to the accused men's alleged political connections.
