US' Department of Justice has ordered prosecutors to prioritise revoking citizenship of naturalised Americans who are engaged in various criminal offences. Naturalisation is the process by which US citizenship is granted to a lawful permanent resident after meeting the requirements established by Congress. A naturalised citizen should've been a lawful permanent US resident for at least five years.
