In the Swachh Survekshan Awards 2024-25, Maharashtra stood tall with four of its cities earning top honours, reaffirming the state's commitment to urban cleanliness and civic engagement. Navi Mumbai claimed the third position among India's cleanest cities (after Indore and Surat). The city also secured the title of Best City in Citizens' Feedback category with population above 10 lakh.
