The Navi Mumbai International Airport will be named after late politician and social activist DB Patil, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced on Friday. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the naming of the airport, which will now be known as 'Loknete DB Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport'. Notably, PM Modi will inaugurate the airport on October 8.
