The Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is expected to be inaugurated on May 15, as per reports. Earlier, the airport faced challenges during a commercial flight validation test on December 29, when the DGCA noted preparedness issues as an IndiGo A320 landed on runway 08/26. However, a recent DGCA inspection found that 90 per cent of these concerns were resolved.
