A man from Navi Mumbai allegedly set his 32-year-old wife on fire over suspicions of an extramarital affair and tried to stage it as a suicide. His attempt failed after their seven-year-old daughter, who witnessed the incident, told police that he had burned her mother to death, the officials said.
