Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, inaugurated the NCC Special Joint State Representatives and Additional/Deputy Directors General Conference in Bhopal on June 3. He announced the nationwide expansion of NCC by three lakh cadets. Several states have already agreed to the plan and committed to swiftly developing the required training infrastructure to support the significant scale-up.
