NCERT has formed an expert committee to examine feedback on alleged historical inaccuracies in newly released textbooks. This follows objections by Chaitanya Raj Singh over a Class 8 map showing Jaisalmer under Maratha rule. NCERT stated the panel will assess the claims using available evidence and submit a report soon, as part of its established review process.
